i recon that i am a very slow reader and this is probably because i dislike reading and i dont do it enough. I find it hard to concerntrate on reading as i find it very boring and there for i dont ready many books at all. The only type of book i really enjoy reading are sports books and crime books. I have never liked reading because i play lots of sports and dont enjoy sitting around with my head stuck in a book. The only time i ever read is when we have to in class or for homework otherwise i choose to do other things with my life. the last book that i liked was called deadly unna i enjoyed reading that because it envolved my favourite sport AFL. It also used slang language which i find easier to understand. I hope to inprove my reading in Englsih.

I love reading magazines i read them whenever I am bored. you should try to read in your spare time, then maybe your skills would improve. It also helps to get a good book that you are interested in and want to keep reading. I love reading about footy, specky magee is my favourite series. I also am not a very good reader either. And i will try my very best to improve over the year. Keep me posted on any good books you read!!!!

I have the same problem as you i am a slow reader but if i get into a book that i really like i can go on for hours! all you need to do is find the right book for you! A book that i have read recently was AFL for Dummies. I thought that AFL for Dummies was a good book to read because it has my favourite sport in it FOOTY! I suggest you read this book as yuo like AFL aswell! dont worry your reading will improve a great deal if you just keep at it like your Footy! Cheers Hally. ;)
